Prizes: 1st: $1000 2nd: $750 3rd: $500 4th: $250 Rating Group A: $300 Rating Group B: $250 Rating Group C: $200 Rating Group D: $150 Best Unrated: $100 Best Primary School Student: $50

Time Control: 60 minutes each plus 20 seconds a move from move 1.

Byes: Up to two half point byes are available upon request for rounds 1 to 5. No half point byes are available for round 6.

Entry Fees: Adults: $70 Pensioners/Full Time Students/Juniors/: $50 Non-CAQ Members need to add $20 to their entry fees. They will become CAQ members for 2018 and 2019.
